This Privacy Policy describes how FixGrid ("FixGrid", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Pawan Kumar (Udyam-registered MSME, India), collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use our website www.fixgrid.in, our Customer mobile application, our Engineer mobile application, and any related services (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

You can disable location permissions from your device settings at any time. Without location access, the app's core features (matching, tracking) will not work.

5. Push Notifications & WhatsApp Messages

We send transactional messages (OTPs, job assignments, payment confirmations, dispute updates) through:

Promotional/marketing messages are sent only with your prior opt-in. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp or disabling notifications in app settings. Transactional messages essential to the service cannot be disabled while you have an active account.

6. Payment Information

All payment information (card numbers, UPI IDs, net-banking credentials) is collected and processed directly by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway. FixGrid never sees, stores, or has access to your full card details. We only receive a payment confirmation (success/failure), an order ID, and the last 4 digits of the card if applicable.

7. Engineer KYC & Identity Verification

To register as an engineer on FixGrid, you must complete a KYC process. We collect:

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you without undue delay through the app, email, or WhatsApp.

11. Children's Privacy

FixGrid is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@fixgrid.in and we will delete it immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via in-app banner or push notification at least 7 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
