Delete Your FixGrid Account & Data
FixGrid (apps: in.fixgrid.customer / in.fixgrid.engineer) respects your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time using the steps below.
How to request deletion
Send an email to:

Subject: Account Deletion Request
Include:
- Your registered phone number (the one used to log in)
- Your full name as registered
- Confirmation: "I request deletion of my FixGrid account and associated data."
What will be deleted
- Your name, phone number, email, address, and profile photo
- Your saved service addresses and preferences
- Your authentication tokens and login sessions
- Push notification device tokens
- Any uploaded photos or attachments tied to your bookings
What may be retained
By law (Indian tax/accounting regulations under the Income Tax Act and GST Act), we are required to retain certain records:
- Booking & payment records — retained for up to 7 years for tax and audit purposes (anonymized where possible)
- Anti-fraud records — retained as needed to prevent abuse of our platform
These records are stored securely and are not used to contact you or for marketing.
Processing time
- We confirm receipt of your request within 3 business days
- We verify your identity (you may be asked to confirm via OTP on your registered number)
- Deletion is completed within 30 days of verified request
- You receive a final confirmation email when deletion is complete
Partial deletion
If you only want to delete specific data (e.g., your profile photo or address) without closing your account, mention this in your email and we will process accordingly.
